My husband, 2 children, and 2 step children are incredible gifts from the Lord!
In one paragraph how did you come to know Christ?
I came to know Christ when I saw my life spinning out of control, yet my second child was on the way. Being a single mom and hearing God lovingly say, “Not on your strength Jen, but My strength”, I let go and let God take over. He rescued me from a very dark pit, pulling me and my boys into His light, guiding us to freedom and the J.O.Y. that only comes from Him. Our life has been an amazing journey of faith and trust in God alone, and now my family has doubled in size as I recently married a wonderful Godly man and gained 2 fabulous step children. God is so good!
How do you unwind?
By praying and having fun with my husband and the kids.
Favorite Restaurant:
King’s Fish House, or any place that serves great crab legs!
Favorite TV Show:
Prison Break and American Idol.
What’s on your iPod right now?
I don’t have one, but if I did it would have a ton of modern/alternative Christian songs on it. I really enjoy bands like “Switchfoot”, “Delirious”, and “Monday Morning”. My music listening has totally transformed into being all about worship, as it gets my thoughts on the right track every day.
