This life so far has been an incredible journey and I have experienced God every step of the way. After enduring some catastrophic events as a child I came to the realization that there is a God who cares deeply for me. At eight years old, after losing my parents and brother in a horrible accident, I was adopted into the best Christian family that God could provide. In the summer of 1973 I accepted Christ at a youth camp and from then on I knew that the Lord had a special calling on my life. I began studying piano at nine years old and by age 15 was leading worship in my home church. Eighteen years later my decision to go into full time ministry leading worship was quite simple. Although I was pursuing the corporate ladder, it was clear that the Lord was providing an opportunity in the worship ministry here at Horizon. I am truly blessed with the best job in the world. Leading worship at Horizon and doing Kingdom work is the most rewarding work I've ever had the privilege of doing. Our God is a great God!
