New Believers’ Class Today at 11:15

If you’re new to the Family of God, or never instructed in the origins of our faith, be part of this Sunday class at 11:15 in Room 103.

One Man, One Wife

Confused about Prop. 8 on the November ballot? The Bible’s definition of marriage is clear: “each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband” (1 Cor. 7:2). Horizon’s Salt & Light ministry has pre-addressed envelopes at their courtyard table, with donation slips to Protect Marriage. You can also give when you visit www.protectmarriage.com. 

Tuesday Studies for Men and Women

The campus is buzzing with excitement about the new Bible study in Romans. This new series is just beginning, but it’s never too late to take part. The men meet at 6:30 in the Sanctuary, the women meet twice on Tuesdays; 10am and 6:30pm.

Manna for the Military

One way to share the love of Jesus to our Military and their families, is to be part of Horizon's food drive "Manna for the Military". Please bring non-perishable food items when you come to worship the weekend of October 4-5. Let's bless some needy military families. For information, contact Pastor Steve at 756.5599 ext. 5940.

AWANA Kids Need YOU

Please pray and ask the Lord if this is the season for YOU to be a Godly influence to some AWANA kids. THEY need YOU, and we can only grow as we have the leadership. Sign-up in the courtyard today.

Missions Makes a Difference

As we reach out to others, it’s for the purpose of seeing all people become followers of Jesus Christ.   Horizon outreach and service opportunities this month include Missions Prayer Night. Be part of the hi-tech video chat with Paul and Cammi- our Missionaries in Africa on Friday, September 26 at 6pm. Stop by the Missions table in the courtyard to reserve your spot.

Build a Home and a Family
Friday and Saturday (September 26 and 27), you can help to shelter your neighbor and to share Jesus with a family south of the border. Build a home for a homeless family. Can’t go, but want to donate building materials? Drop by the Men's table for more information.

GriefShare Resumes TODAY

GriefShare is a weekly video seminar and small group discussion led by caring people who have discovered that real healing takes place at the cross. Join us Sunday mornings at 10am… starting today at Horizon Prep Room 14. For more information, contact Pastor Gary at Ext. 5931.
