The Origins of Faith

If you’ve never studied the basic creeds we share as Believers, the origins of what we believe and why, make time for “The Origins of Faith” class, Sunday morning at 11:15 in Room 103.

One Man, One Wife

Will you vote YES on Prop. 8? The Bible’s definition of marriage is clear: “each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband” (1 Cor. 7:2). Horizon’s Salt & Light ministry has pre-addressed donation slips and envelopes at their courtyard table. You can also donate online: www.protectmarriage.com. And, be sure to vote November 4.

The Meat of the Word

This fall, the book of Romans is the focus for both Men and Women at Horizon. The women meet twice on Tuesdays; 10am (childcare) and 6:30pm. The men meet Tuesday at 6:30 in the Sanctuary. Hungry? Come at 6:00 for dinner and fellowship, then stay for worship and the Word.

Manna for Military
