An old-fashioned Cake Walk and Bible Character Costumes, The Bounce House, Great Joust, Giant Wave Slide and MORE fun activities for all ages!

Horizon’s major outreaches require many hands. Can you take a 2-hour shift to oversee one of the fun activities?

Drop off your candy donations and sign-up to serve at the Children’s Ministry tables.

VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY. 

Tuesday, November 4 could be the most important Election Day of our lifetime. In preparing to vote, we are fasting and praying that God’s purposes for America would be realized in the men and women to be elected and the crucial issues that must be decided. Pick up yard signs, voter guides and information at Horizon’s Salt & Light Ministry table. 

Bookshop Open House

NEW DATES: Next weekend, October 25 and 26, drop by the Horizon Bookshop for coffee and donuts and browse the many new titles for adults, teens and kids, innovative new gift lines, beautiful Home Décor items, wall art, cross jewelry and NOTW apparel, hats & car stickers.  Horizon’s bookshop proceeds support our missionaries around the world.

Operation Christmas Child

This is an opportunity for your family to bring joy to a child overseas this Christmas. Pack a shoe box full of school supplies, toiletries (no liquids) and small toys and put a smile on a little face.   Stop by the Missions table for information or contact pastor Steve Haines at ext. 5933.

Small Groups Update

• Crown Financial .. learning to be a better steward of what God has entrusted to you, is an 8-week group that meets Monday’s in Rancho Santa Fe.  Sign up at the Small Groups table in the courtyard or contact Dan at dplatt6244@cox.net



• Peacemaker Ministries

There is a biblical response to conflict that applies God’s truths to any disagreement. This 10-week program begins this Thursday, Oct 23 in Carlsbad. Contact Matt Argue at 951-704-5556 or mattargue@onemediator.net.    

• GriefShare

GriefShare is a weekly video seminar and small group discussion led by people who are on their journey of grief.  Sunday mornings at 10am at Horizon Prep Room 14. For more information, call Ext. 5931.

• Free Indeed

There’s no real freedom from sexual integrity issues, drugs, alcohol, gambling or other enslaving sin apart from Jesus. Free Indeed is biblically-based support for men and women in recovery.  Call Ext. 5919.

• DivorceCare

Bible study, video seminars and discussion groups for anyone going thru a break-up, separation or divorce.  Men and women are welcome Friday evenings at 6:30 in the Glass Room. It’s free… and childcare is offered.

• Share Without Fear

Are you fearful to share your faith? This 4-week study will show anyone how to use simple questions in the course of everyday conversation to lead someone to faith in Christ.  Starts Oct 31 in Rancho Santa Fe. Call Sheila at 858-759-9503.

TUESDAY IN ROMANS

The Women’s Ministry meets twice on Tuesdays; 10am (childcare) and 6:30pm. The Men’s Ministry meets Tuesday at 6:30.  Come at 6:00 for dinner and fellowship. This fall, the book of Romans is the focus for both Men and Women at Horizon.

Horizon’s Young Adult Ministry, the Orchard (College-age 20s-30s) features dynamic worship, relevant teaching, engaging fellowship and FUN!  The Orchard … Thursdays @ 7pm!
