In 1980 a handful of employees at the Billy Graham headquarters set up a few telephones hoping that the local Crusade telecast would generate a little activity. An overwhelming avalanche of calls caught them by surprise. Within months, 200 telephones were installed and operating at the BGEA headquarters, and telephone centers around the country were opened to cope with the demand.
In December 2003 BG TVTM took
its 1 millionth phone call since 1981. |
