The purpose of this ministry is to serve God and His church by sharing the love of Jesus and minister to children with special needs and their families.
The name “John 9 – Because Every Child Matters!” comes from the Gospel of John, Chapter 9, where Jesus shares with His disciples that the reason the man who was born blind was so that the power of God could be made manifest in him. God had a special purpose for this man and made no mistakes when he created him with this disability.
John 9 is designed to minister to all children (ages 3 and up) and is held every Sunday at the 11:15 service
At our John 9 Class You can expect:
- A safe, calm, and loving environment adapted to meet your child’s individual needs.
- A low teacher to student ratio.
- Teachers and volunteers with a special heart to serve you and your children.
- A request to carefully fill out a short student informational intake form.

Purpose and Goals
- The purpose of this ministry is to love these children, help them to grow in their Christian faith, and to provide an opportunity for the entire family to Worship God in a setting that is conducive for their needs.
Classroom Agenda
- First to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where the children feel welcome and the parents feel secure that their child’s needs are being met.
- Music and worship, walks around campus, bathroom breaks, snacks, and a strong emphases on one on one interaction where you can share Jesus’ love with and for them
