The ministry was started in February 2010 for men and women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s+ to meet and grow together in the love, knowledge, grace, and peace of Jesus, with healthy fellowship that honors and glorifies God.
We get together on the 2nd Friday of the month at 6:30pm for a Bible Study/Potluck Dinner and night of fellowship. The dinners have been over the top amazing! We enjoy some great worship, open up God’s Word, and share some lively discussion, encouraging prayer time, and enjoy a fun evening together connecting with new friends.
On the 4th weekend of the month we have an event planned for that Friday night, or Saturday. We serve at homeless outreaches, enjoy hikes, Padres games, concerts, museums, skiing, rafting, and the like. Always looking for fun things to do together!

In addition, Horizon North County sponsors a monthly downtown San Diego Homeless Outreach. Although not an official part of the Singles Ministry, we encourage singles to participate and serve as often as they can. The group meets at Horizon North County on the last Saturday of every month at 11am. It is a great opportunity to serve the Lord by serving His people.
